Education-/Research assistant BET department
Are you passionate about organizing laboratory processes and supporting research activities? We offer an exciting position as an Education-/Research assistant where you will be responsible for efficiently managing laboratory inventory and coordinating operational tasks within our dynamic research team.
We are looking for a dedicated Education-/Research assistant (Amanuensis) for the BET Department. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the efficiency of our (bio)chemica and (molecular) cell biological laboratories by managing general tasks and serving as the central point of contact. You will be responsible for managing the storage room, assisting research technicians, and performing various general tasks, thereby improving clarity and efficiency and allowing research technicians to focus on their research and teaching duties.

About the department
The mission of the BET department is pursued through the development and application of state-of-the-art technologies at the interface of physics, chemistry, (stem)cell and molecular biology, biomaterials and membrane science, microfluidics, additive manufacturing, biofabrication and tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, microengineering, and nanotechnology using a truly multidisciplinary approach. Our activities range from fundamental- to applied research and also include true translational research.

- Multidisciplinary Approaches in Biomedical Research and Translational Medicine

Our research is conducted in several state-of-the art shared lab facilities.
About the organisation
The Faculty of Science & Technology (Technische Natuurwetenschappen, TNW) engages some 700 staff members and 2000 students in education and research on the cutting edge of chemical technology, applied physics and biomedical technology. Our fields of application include sustainable energy, process technology and materials science, nanotechnology and technical medicine.
