About de job

How cool is it to be the first to share the innovations of SMEs, startups and researchers with the outside world? With quick but catchy content and striking online campaigns you attract the attention of (potential) entrepreneurs. In this way, you move these target groups to explore their business opportunities and lead them to our support and programs.

You make the successes of our target groups visible. Wondering what exactly you will do then? Think of writing news updates for our communities, keeping the website up-to-date and creating social content. Because creating short, creative and activating content is what you love to do most. By doing so, you ensure that we achieve our conversion goals and that we strengthen our communities.

You work a lot within a team. For example, with our campaign marketers, our long copy content specialist and our data analyst. This allows you to give space to your creativity. By leveraging the momentum and creating effective campaign content, you strike the right chord with the intended target groups and activate them to take “the next step”. Be as enterprising as they are in this.

Your profile

  • Experience in years does not tell us everything, but you do have demonstrable experience in creating (short) content. Bonus points if you send examples!

  • You can switch quickly, work strategically, and have a good feel for the target groups in approach and tone of voice.

  • Creativity is in your blood and copywriting comes naturally to you.

  • You can effortlessly translate long copy into short copy with multiple angles.

  • You understand how to make the channels work optimally for you, you know the trick to rank high in the search engines and you are naturally a star at writing conversion-oriented content.

  • You can create appropriate images for your social posts with Canva that match the Novel-T branding (or are willing to learn).

  • Your curiosity provides the most catchy content.

  • You speak and write Dutch and English fluently because the target group is very international.

About the organization

General Affairs is headed by the Secretary of the University and consists of several sections and officers, each one with its own characteristics and role. These sections and officers are: DE&I Officer, Integral Safety Officer, Policy Advisor knowledge safety, Legal Officer, Ombuds officer, Internal Audit, Innovation Lab (concerning Novel-T and HTT) and U-Today.

In addition General Affairs (GA) provides management support to the Executive Board and the University as a whole. The Executive Board Support Team supports the policy and decision making processes related to the Executive Board and Supervisory Board. The team also supports the advisory bodies of the University. Furthermore, the team supports the Executive Board in the process of participation by the University Council.
