Within the Education Service Centre (ESC) of the BMS faculty there is a vacancy Education Coordinator for the parttime master's programmes Public Management and Risk Management. The ESC supports a total of 5 bachelor’s programmes and 12 master’s programmes in the BMS faculty. The ESC support includes, amongst others, program coordination, internationalisation and quality assurance of programmes. The parttime master's program Public Management and Risk Management are given within the framework of the Professional Learning & Development Centre. In this centre, several educational programmes are offered to professionals and managers who are active in both the private and the public sector.

The challenge

You are the linking pin between the program director, study advisor, professors, students and the other parts of the Professional Learning & Development Centre and the Education Service Centre. You make a contribution to the development of both the current and future education programmes concerning the content and the quality. You are responsible for the planning and the organisation of the program and the handling of admission requests of participants. Informing participants and playing an active role in the marketing and education belong here naturally. Furthermore you signal bottlenecks and you come up with suggestions of improvement with regard to the design and implementation of the educational program.

Your profile

  • You have completed higher education and you have relevant work experience.
  • You are an enthusiastic person and a teamplayer who takes initiative and has excellent social and interpersional skills.
  • Given the international character of the UT, you are proficient in both Dutch and English, written and orally (C1 level).
  • You are an excellent organiser and you see financial and administrative processes as a natural part of your job.
  • You behave helpful towards students and lecturers and researchers. At the same time, you are confident to be critical and you are capable of persuading others to implement new developments

Our offer

  • We are offering a (fulltime or parttime) 32-38 hours a week contract for the period of 1 year at first. The UT offers an inspiring, challenging, flexible and sustainable environment to work in.
  • Depending on qualifications and experience, your gross monthly salary will be a maximum of €4.670,- based on full-time employment, according to scale 10 of the labor agreement (cao) Dutch Universities.
  • An optional model for terms and conditions of employment.

  • Holiday pay of 8% and an end-of-year bonus of 8.3%.
  • Free of charge access to the campus Sports Centre.
