You will be working in a varied, independent role within the Faculty of Engineering Technology (ET) in the Department of Civil Engineering and Management (CEM). A department we are proud of because students want to study here, people want to work here and every day we are working on the future. You will function within the department as the executive coordinator of education. You will be someone who enjoys being the interface between the department, the secretariat, the Educational Support (ES) and Education Affairs Office (BOZ) departments, lecturers, students and other departments. You will be the connecting factor between our department and educational support. You will also work closely with the education coordinators of the other departments.

In this multifaceted role, you will ensure that teaching within the department runs smoothly. You will coordinate preparation and planning, support lecturers with timetables, the online learning environment (Canvas) and grade administration, and arrange the deployment of student assistants. In addition, you will contribute to open days and Master's information sessions, activities to improve the quality of the educational programme, and ensure that clear and up-to-date information is provided via the website.

Your profile

  • Secondary vocational education (MBO)+/higher professional education (HBO) working and thinking level with relevant education.
  • You have at least 3 years of work experience in a relevant/comparable position.
  • You enjoy organising and can maintain an overview in a dynamic and complex environment. You know how to set priorities and ensure mutual connection.
  • You know when it is necessary to step in and enjoy working with others to do so.
  • You communicate effectively, easily and collegially at various levels.
  • You have a good command of the English language and can communicate easily with international staff, students and colleagues.

Our offer

  • A challenging position for 16 to 24 hours per week in an international working environment.
  • You will initially be offered a one-year contract. Permanent employment may be possible thereafter.
  • Depending on education and experience, the salary is a maximum of €4,484.00 gross per month (scale 8) based on 38 hours.
  • An excellent package of secondary employment conditions, including an end-of-year bonus of 8.3%, a good pension scheme and free use of our sports facilities.
