Educational Support (EDU) provides the educational support for five Bachelor’s and eight Master’s programmes in the faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science (EEMCS). The support includes, but is not restricted to, programme coordination, study advice, internationalisation, exchange and quality assurance.

Due to the absence of the current coordinator, we now offer temporary vacancy for the programme coordination of the Master’s programme Robotics, Electrical Engineering and Embedded Systems. Together with the educational directors, the programme coordinator of a Master’s programme forms the management team of a programme. As a master coordinator you are responsible for managing the operational aspects of the programme, including the implementation of the set-up of the programme, the regulations and procedures for students and lecturers, quality assurance, information provision for current and prospective students and lecturers, and student admission and intake.

Your profile

In view of the combination of tasks as outlined above, we are looking for someone who:

  • is passionate about working with young people in an educational environment.
  • has a Master’s degree, in STEM (science, technology, engineering or mathematics)
  • has some experience with the organisation of education at a Dutch university or related institute.
  • is proficient in English, both in speaking and in writing
  • is proficient in Dutch – or willing to learn Dutch, both in speaking and writing
  • has excellent communication skills.
  • has the skills to organize the data flow between stakeholders and parties involved in a study programme, to manage data if necessary, and to prepare for decision making.
  • is a solution focused team worker.

Our offer

  • We offer a 0.8 fte position as coordinator for a short period, but it is not excluded that the contract can be extended.
  • The terms of employment are in accordance with the Dutch Collective Labour Agreement for Universities (CAO), and include:
  • A maximum salary of €5.538,- (on the basis of a full-time appointment in scale 10) per month, based on relevant work experience;
  • a holiday allowance of 8% of the gross annual salary and a year-end bonus of 8.3%;
  • a minimum of 29 leave days in case of fulltime employment based on a formal workweek of 38 hours.
